Uses of Phospho Gypsum

In Agriculture

It gives nutrients to plants by providing sulphur and calcium. Calcium helps in the absorption of nutrients in the roots. Sulphur improves crop yield. It has the ability to improve acid soils. It helps in treating aluminium toxicity. Soil can get waterlogged due to the presence of increased sodium, excess water and swelling clay. Gypsum helps in the process of improving the water infiltration

In Gypsum Board

Gypsum board is also known as plasterboard, drywall or wall board. It consists of the paper surface and non-combustible core. These boards are easy to install. It has excellent fire resistance. Helps in sound isolation by preventing the transfer of unnecessary sound. It is less expensive and has great durability.

In Cement Industries

Gypsum is called the retarding agent of cement which is mainly used for regulating the setting time of cement and is an indispensable component. Without gypsum, cement clinker can condense immediately by mixing with water and release heat.
